Since childhood Martine has enjoyed losing herself in the flowing geometric lines of a doodle. With a strong background in graphic design this intricate detailed art evolved into a personal style she calls Moodling.
Landscape art keeps Martine in touch with the nature around her, and allows her to focus on colour and texture. This art type provides a grounding for Martine.
Still Life gives Martine the opportunity to stop time. This allows her to focus on and capture every intricate detail, no matter how small and seemingly insignificant it may seem on the macro scale.
Working with wax promotes the unknown, as blending and fusing of colours and materials is never 100% predictable.
